15th Annual Foundation Golf Tournament Beats the (Weather) Odds
Franklin, MA – Despite threatening skies and a forecast of rain, rain, and more rain, the golf gods worked their magic and held off the monsoon-like rains until the seventy-six golfers registered in this year’s Armenian Youth Foundation Golf Tournament reached the 19th hole. Foundation supporters from New England, New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, and Detroit came out to spend a day with their fellow Armenians in support of a great cause. A wide range of corporate sponsors, individual sponsors, auction and raffle item donors combined with tournament participants to make this year’s event one of the most successful in Foundation history. “The annual golf tournament continues to be an important part of the Foundation’s annual fundraising efforts,” said Foundation Chairman, Stepan Kanarian. “A strong showing from individuals and corporations alike was critical this year given some of the exciting high impact plans the Foundation will be announcing shortly.”
